Couples Coaching

We invite God to our weddings, but how many couples actually invite God into their marriage?  And when problems arise, how often do we return to the inventor of marriage for the answers?  In my years of working with couples, I've seen husbands and wives overcome obstacles when they choose to focus on being who God wants them to be - instead of trying to fix their spouse.  As your coach I will help guide you towards a healthy marriage that includes spiritual, emotional and physical intimacy.      

Premarital Coaching

Married couples often argue over problems they never saw coming.  They were not properly prepared for the rigors of married life.  I once had a man seek me out for counseling.  His wife told him it was over, and they hadn't even gotten the wedding pictures back from the studio.  If your wedding is in the near future, you need a coach who can ask you the right questions and provide insights that will help you avoid the potential landmines.

Encouragement/Accountability Coaching for Leaders

Many churches today are pastor led or staff led churches.  This allows the church to grow quickly, but it also puts the leader in peril if there is little or no accountability.  If this describes you then I would like to be your coach - to encourage you as you lead, and ask the tough questions that need to come from outside the church.  Conversations are completely confidential.

Coaching vs. Counseling

You might be asking, "Isn't coaching the same as counseling?  What's the difference?" Coaching is not the same as counseling.  Among other skills, counseling involves examining a patient's past experiences to help resolve emotional issues they are facing in the present.  As a senior pastor I have counseled with many couples and individuals nouthetically (from the Bible) over the years.  A licensed therapist is trained to diagnose mental conditions (like depression) and prescribe (or adjust) medication(s). If you are struggling with emotional difficulties then I want to encourage you to seek out a licensed therapist.

Coaching is about helping people to make positive life changes to reach specific goals.  In coaching you will be asked some targeted questions and given assignments based on your answers.  When you attended high school and/or college, you had homework.  Well, at Marriage University you have homework as well.  The difference is, our homework is more fun.

If you've never used vCita - it really is easy.
  1. You can choose to either "Set a Meeting" or "Send a Message".
  2. If you choose to set a meeting then please look at the calendar and select three (3) available time slots that would work with your schedule.
  3. Select a phone call meeting.
  4. Share a little about the subject of the meeting. What area(s) of your marriage/personal wellness would you like to improve?
  5. Provide your contact information.
  6. Follow payment instructions. vCita uses paypal.
  7. If you have questions before committing to a session or making payment, please feel free to "Send a Message" first and you will be contacted by Craig or Crystal (usually the same day).
Craig's Refund Policy - My desire is to add value to your life and help you reach your marriage/personal wellness goals.  After our session has concluded - if for any reason you do not believe the session helped in any way, I will personally refund your payment. That is my promise to you.
